80hrs Yin&Yang Yoga Teacher Training

Kibayo, Cabarete, Dominican Republic 8th-18 February 2024

This 80-hour module program is a unique combination of Yin & Yang principles in practice of Yoga dedicated for yoga teachers and/or passionate practitioners who want to enrich their journey by:

Vinyasa flow classes focused on specific asana areas (hips, twists, backbends, arm balancing, standing balancing, inversions and many more),
emphasis on functional and energetic alignment, deep stabilization system of the body and use of bandhas,
exploration of the potential of our breath through learning variety of breath techniques and their sequences,
recognizing known and unknown space in our awareness through concentrative, integrative and transcending meditation techniques.

You will further learn about:

the benefits of regular meditation on our mind and physiology, supported by the latest scientific researches from Neuroscience in combination with traditional Vedic science,
Yin yoga principles and functional approach in Yin poses,
Chinese Meridian theory, Tai Chi, Yin&Yang organ pairs,
Lecture about Yin & Yang nutrition concept,
Yoga Philosophy and chanting mantras,
2x surfing classes (optional),
ice bathing session and cacao ceremony with bonfire.

The aim of the course is to learn about the principles of Yin & Yang energies, which accompany everything we do. Such recognition to guide into greater establishment of the balance between these 2 energies, so we can better tap into the reservoir of our potential in yoga practice and also in our daily life.

It is possible to take this training as an Immersion (full morning program and only Yin yoga in the evening) without the certification from Yoga Alliance with 300 eur discount.

The venue: Kibayo

Kibayo is a peaceful sanctuary located between Cabarete and Sosua. The location consists of a villa with a calming and earthy look and feel, where guests have the opportunity to stay amongst nature.
